My specialty is video productions and video content creation.
I am an experienced freelance cameraman and documentary filmmaker. As a Nelspruit videographer, majority of my clients fall within the agricultural, lifestyle and tourism sectors. I create social media content for farmers, promotional videos for lodges and game reserves, as well as marketing videos for lifestyle estates and various other businesses.
How would I describe my style?
When you live in the Lowveld, you have to love the sun! I love to work with available and natural light. I would describe my style as natural, classic and timeless. I understand the importance of good lighting, composition, camera movements and audio. Professional audio is equally important as a good shot (if it requires dialogue or background sounds). You can’t fix bad audio with beautiful visuals. Bad audio will drag that beautiful shot down with it… ouch!
Post-Production
The first step to a good edit is good footage. I film with the edit and story in mind. I don’t hide my camerawork behind dramatic editing.
Post-production is a time-consuming process. It often takes longer than the filming. Over and above the time spent crafting the story on the timeline, choosing the right music track can be an equally time-consuming, and often daunting process. I make use of library music that I license for the final videos. A voice-over, or narration, is also an optional extra. I always recommend using a professional voice-over artist, recorded professionally in a studio. These are all small things that will give your video the edge over the competition.
